Writing about the Arte Y Pico Award

blog writers win award for writing

My friend Lofter, at Life at the Foot of the Stairs has given me an award.

The award is for Daily (W)rite, and I am so grateful my sporadic posts have stayed long enough in his fav list to actually win an award !

I am quite sure I don’t deserve the award, but it shows I have at least one appreciative visitor, so I have gone ahead and accepted it! Thank you Lofter, you usually leave cheery comments, but the last one was the best so far:)

I have a few other loyal visitors as well, and I am ever so intrigued at what brings them back. You know who you are, and I feel ashamed every time you guys have visited and been presented with a stale post.

I hope to do better this month, both on this blog and my other one!

To follow the requirements of receiving the award, I list below the actions it requires upon acceptance:

1. Pick 5 blogs that you consider deserve this award for their creativity, design, interesting material, and also for contributing to the blogging community, no matter what language.

2. Each award has to have the name of the author and also a link to his or her blog.

3. Each award winner (upon acceptance) should show the award and put the name and link to the blog that has given her or him the award.

4. Show the link of Arte y pico blog , so everyone will know the origin of this award.

5. Show these rules.

To follow the first requirement, I present the Arte y pico award to the following bloggers:

I love going to these blogs, and if you visit them, you will know why:)

    You are welcome, Turkish Prawn:)

And this award is not for your blog, not for how often you visit me;)

    Do come by often!

  • Thank you so much!!!

I’ve never gotten an award for writing before. Thank you also for pointing out the others. I’ve been having fun reading them after the kiddos are in bed.

I’ll have to give some serious thought about where the award should go next.

Keep up the writing. I might not comment too often here, but that doesn’t mean I’m not reading!

Congratulations, lovey! I am very happy for you. And for the note, I don’t think you’re blog is boring or stale. What keeps me back is that you’re genuine.

Damyanti, thank you so much! I really appreciate it. It means a lot that a writer of your skill and experience finds something of value on my blog. I’m very grateful.

I’ll have to do my part to further the award this weekend. 🙂

    Thank you again.

  • Thank you! I have never gotten an award before and this one is quite beautiful. My daughter loves the idea of an award that is fashioned like a “fairy”. Now to display it and pick bloggers.

    Thank you again!

OooohWeee thank you for the award!!!

But the problem with me going to the ARTE Y PICO site is I can’t understand the language there!

However, I do understand the English your site & I am gleefully accepting the award.
    Thank you again!!!
