Writing on this blog sometimes becomes a difficult exercise: because this is a public blog.
A lot of people who know me in real life know about this blog. And some of them definitely read it.
Sometimes, just sometimes, I long to have an anonymous place to rave, rant, let my hair down, whatever.
Time to find some of my fictional characters and let them go on the rampage instead of me…living vicariously is easy when you are a writer:)
Oh, and thanks for using ‘too’ correctly. 😉 Not many people do; they almost always leave out the comma before ‘too’.
So get such a blog. I’m thinking of doing the opposite: starting a blog under my real name.
But I know it’ll be an awful lot of work to do. you already have two blogs now…
Ditto! In Spades!
Lol Loft, your shortest comment on my blog ever:)
I love the picture you chose to go with this.
And I totally agree!
I know, I love the pic too!
Rave and rant away, Damyantisaurus Regina! I see the benefit of having an anonymous blog, too, and that’s a really good idea.
🙂
Err….problem is, Darc, I’d still like you to visit any blog I write, and you cant visit an anonymous one!:D
Amen to anonymity! However, I find myself wanting to “own” what I write. Weird…
Welcome, tbkent.
I always want to own what I write, too. Which is why I need an anonymous place where only I will know I own my rants:)
I have thought about writing a story via a blog and not revealing who I am. I have written blog posts that I didn’t publish publicly either at first but just had my husband read. I think in the end we are just writers too much and want/need to be read.
Want to be read is about right. But sometimes, I don’t. Like when I was starting on my post.
Man do I hear you on that one. Sometimes I have the urge to start a blog under an assumed name and just write…something that no one knows about in my real life. Maybe one day I will do that!
I will do that too, for sure, some day when time is not in SUCH short supply! Thanks for dropping by, and hope to see you here often:)
