Writing about How to Write

I am not a great fan of “How-to” books, whether on writing or anything else, but here is a link to books that I think could be interesting for writers.

I am not sure the list is comprehensive, cos it leaves out a few of my favorites. But until the time I get down to making my own list of Essential Reading for Writers, it will have to do.

In the meanwhile, the holidays are here, so wishing all my readers (such as they are) a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!!

Damyanti Biswas is the author of You Beneath Your Skin and numerous short stories that have been published in magazines and anthologies in the US, the UK, and Asia. She has been shortlisted for Best Small Fictions and Bath Novel Awards and is co-editor of the Forge Literary Magazine. Her literary crime thriller series, the Blue Mumbai, is represented by Lucienne Diver from The Knight Agency. Both The Blue Bar and The Blue Monsoon were published in 2023.
