In theory, a “How to” book on writing gives you all the arsenal you need.

But having a good arsenal does not make you a good warrior. Learning how to wield those weapons, and practicing till it becomes instinct, does.

So, I’m all out of writing advice to myself (or others). I’m just hunkering down to write, putting pen to paper, fingers on the keyboard.

I found a small article on very relevant advice here, and I think it would help any aspiring writer.
Another post that has a lot of useful links for authors who are sending out queries is here.

While you go check them out, I’ll just go back do some more writing :).
