All I’ve ever wanted as a writer

All I’ve wanted as a writer was to be able to write anywhere, on any surface, on a stick-it note somewhere, on a wall, a notebook, and have it automatically transferred to a computer, in a search-able form, all without carrying around yet another device.

Watch this guy, who puts a totally human face on technology, eliminating the barriers that various devices create between us and the objects we touch:

Pranav Mistry: The thrilling potential of SixthSense technology | Video on TED.com

A guy who takes pictures without cameras, uses not a phone but his own palm to call people, who can copy and paste from a document to a computer without a scanner, and all for less than 2 dollars.

Move over iPhone and iPad, I want this guy’s device-free technology, and happily write anywhere I want, anyhow I want, in a device-free world!
