How do you judge a teacher toying with the sexuality of her teenaged student?

That is how my book A to Z Stories of Life and Death starts off on Smashwords.

Next step is Kindle, of course.

Just wanted to take a minute to tell my blog-friends who’ve bought the book already how grateful I am for their support.  Thanks also to a fellow-writer who reviewed it. I’ve never met any of you…so my only conclusion is I’m very lucky, and that writers are the nicest bunch of folks, who support each other.

I’ve received support in spadefuls, and I just want the opportunity to be grateful.

Here are the folks who inspired and helped me with the book, and I’d like to send a copy of the book to them to just express my million thanks in a minuscule way.

So, here goes, in no particular order: (Please tell me if you prefer not to receive a copy, because I don’t mean to intrude, only express my appreciation). Most are amazing writers and bloggers, some are super-talented photographers and designers. All are worth the visit and the follow.

A thousand thanks to each one of you. Some of you read the book and helped edit it, some inspired it, and others cheered me on. To each and every one of you, I’m grateful. Let the A to Z Stories of Life and Death ebook experiment begin! 🙂

Wow!! This was unexpected! I didn’t know I helped in anyway, but I sure did love reading your stories.. Thank you for the mention!! 🙂 🙂
I’d absolutely love to read your book, but then you already know that.. I can barely wait to get started! 😀 😀

  • Thanks Damyanti — so kind. I am planning to buy an IPad and intend to get your book as my first read anyway. It will not only be a good read but also a lesson in how to write short stories.

  • indigo bunting says:

Wait…I don’t have a Kindle. Does this mean I can’t read it? (Sorry, I’m behind the times in so many ways…)

    • Damyanti says:

You can download it in a lot of formats, including PDF and text, which you can read on your computer…if you have an iphone, can read it on the Kindle app 🙂

  • indigo bunting says:

A copy of the book? Really? I would love that. I admire you so.

  • I’m glad I was able to give you support. I loved reading all the pieces and that cover is amazing.

    • Damyanti says:

Patricia, thank you, and it means a lot coming from you…because you’re publishing an amazing book yourself! Look forward to hosting you on my blog! DM me if you would like a copy of my book as a token of thanks 🙂

  • Petra says:

I feel honored to be on your list. Didn’t know that I did anything to help either. Thank you! You’re an awesome writer, Damyanti, and I look forward to reading your new book! Thank you again and many blessings!

  • Wow, I am really honored! Didn’t realize I did anything to help, either. Thanks for a copy of the books. Now that you have a link up, I’ll post that on my blog for others to find it!

    • Damyanti says:

You know Alex, you were a pretty regular commenter. When I wrote the A to Z stories, I was struggling with a move and other issues, and my writing was the last priority. The fact that you took the time to consistently comment gave me the strength to go on. I’ll always be grateful.

I’m putting the book on Kindle tonight, hopefully. Would appreciate a link to that instead of the smashwords. Sending you the book via DM on twitter.

  • Marian Allen says:

Ooo! Ooo! I bought a copy, but if you send me a free one, I’ll give it as a contest prize. 🙂

  • Anna Tan says:

Oh wow… how did I ever end up there!
Thanks for the honour and would love to read your book! <3

  • Damyanti, I’m not sure there’s a more supportive bunch of folks than writers. I’ve learned that on my own journey. I’ll take a raincheck on my copy until I get another Kindle. I’ll definitely post a review. Your stories are wonderful and should be shared. Wishing you tons of success with this project. You can be sure I’ll be spreading the word!

    • Damyanti says:

Joy, I can’t agree more. I’m just so grateful for my blogfriends. Thanks for everything, and the book would be waiting for you whenever you want it. Yes, help in spreading the word is exactly what I need!

  • Damyanti: as you know, i already purchased the book to support you. I MORE than appreciate the thought for a free copy. Take my free copy and we’ll use it for our special project. (hee hee…I”m a stinker…now I want people to ask us “What Special Project?”)

Can’t wait to just READ this week.

    All good things to you!!!

    • Damyanti says:

Stuart, you’re a gem of a friend. Now that we’ve started exchanging letters and emails, I’m so grateful I met you during A to Z.

Hoping everything goes well for our project, and knowing you, it will!

  • Thank you so much! I contacted you on Twitter, then realised this would probably be a much easier way to send you my email address. Your dedication to blogging is inspiring! I am afraid I’ve found it very difficult to keep up since I’ve had such a break-neck writing schedule this year, but you make me want to do better! =)

    • Damyanti says:

Thanks for your support, India :), you were an inspiration. I did DM you the code and the link to the book.

  • K.C. Woolf says:

Wow, thank you! I feel honoured and I’m looking forward to reading it! 🙂

    • Damyanti says:

Sending you a DM with link and code, KC. Appreciate your support not only during #atoz but also all these months since April 🙂

  • I’m weepy. No need to thank me, dear. I enjoy your work and so thankful to have met you through the A to Z Challenge.

But yeah, I’ll totally accept a copy of the book.

    Hugs and stuff,
    C

    • Damyanti says:

Hugs and stuff to you too, Christina 🙂 and I have Every reason to thank you. Sent you a DM on twitter with the code.

  • Damyanti says:

Sent it, Lee. Without the A to Z challenge, this book would not exist today. Thank you!

  • Arlee Bird says:
