Monday Reading again, and I have to confess I have done little reading other than the Writecampaign Flash Fiction entries.

So this week I’ll ask you: What is your current read? What books are on your To Be Read Shelf?

In other news, I’m guest posting at Arlee Bird’s excellent blog where I discuss the A to Z Challenge, and the inevitable A to Z Stories of Life and Death!

Come chat with me there, please, and make my day 🙂

Way too many books on my to-be-read shelf to count, but I am currently reading The Dress Lodger. It's historical fiction set in England, which I love, but it also has a very unusual narrative voice that I enjoy too!

Thanks for sharing all that wonderful reading, guys, and Cheryl, thanks for the award and joining us for the Blogfest!

Hi Damyanti, I have awarded you a versatile blogger award. You can check it out on my blog: http://offwithefairies.blogspot.com/2011/09/10-things-you-probably-didnt-want-to.html

I'm signing up for the Rule of Three right now – it looks like a great deal of fun.

  • Hi, I am currently reading OKAY FOR NOW, a YA book by Gary D. Schmidt. It's great so far.:)

  • I have a bunch of books on my reading list always. I read them all together. Fiction when I have my meals. A book on writing to inspire me. Self-help to better me.And sometimes, even more. Right now, I am reading:

    1) Tiger Hills by Sarita Mandanna
    2) Good as Gold by Napolean Hill
    3) Bird by Bird
    4) The Elements of Style

  • I'm reading Uglies by Scott Westerfeld. I've not been able to get into it yet, though.

  • George R. R. Martin's Game of Thrones. Just beginning the series and it is intriquing, although somewhat devoid of supernatural elements (for the most part) so far. I have Lena Coakley's Witchlanders on my e-shelf, a new YA that looks fascinating. It will be between that and something by David Sedaris (I could use a good laugh).

  • Hi, good to connect with you after signing up for Rule of 3 Blogfest, written my part one today and scheduled to go live on 5th October.

I've just finished reading Londonistan by Melanie Phillips, which is a manipulative and rather hate-filled polemic from a rather manipulative and hate-filled Daily Mail journalist.

That was a chore to finish so yesterday started on The Scheme for Full Employment, Magnus Mills' fourth novel and a nice, easy and enjoyable read.

I have Vasily Grossman's Life & fate to read which is a beast of a book and daunts me somewhat.

  • Richard says:

I'm reading "Leonardo's Hand", a YA book, by Wick Downing. I've never read hardly any YA in my life, but I'm trying different things right now.

  • A Kwee Life says:

I've been so bogged down in trying to catch up reading posts, doing posts and writing, sadly, I've just not had the time to do much reading. I'm hoping I'll get better organized and back to it soon. I'm looking forward to the Rule of Three Blogfest.
