I’m reading The Sound of Waves by Yukio Mishima. It will grace my bedside table for the next day or two.

I'm between books at the moment. The last one I read was by Dean Koontz. He is an amazing writer. I always have to have a note book nearby to write down the new words I learn or the way in which he uses them.

I finished Mishima's book– found it poetic, but did not like the happy ending. It began well, but seemed to make a compromise somewhere.
Read Anna Quinden's Black and Blue yesterday, and found it a very well-written book, if not terribly original. Good narrative voice, which kept me reading throughout. I sometimes find myself trying to finish a book– but this one kept me hooked.
Started on Black Water by Joyce Carol Oates today.
Hi, I'm reading The Return By Victoria Hislop and Spain's devastating civil war. Sonia Cameron was on her holidays she'd gone there to learn to dance. She has no idea of the cities shocking past as she sits in a quiet cafe looking through some old photographs, which take her back seventy years.
Not only have I not read the Mishima book, I've never heard of it. Currently I'm reading Heaven by Randy Alcorn.

I'm reading a book I won on Mason Canyon's blog: Tigers in Red Weather by Liza Klaussman. Too soon to say what I think about it. I'm a couple chapters in and so far I'm just not sure. There are things I like about it and other places where I go, "HUH???"
Isn't "Tigers in Red Weather" a line from a poem?
