I Have my #atozchallenge Friends Team!

As A to Z Challenge becomes bigger and better each year, we the co-hosts sometimes feel the need for more muscle power and the help of friends. So A to Z Friends have stepped in this year, and as a co-host, I have four bloggers whove agreed to help me out.

I’m lucky I found them, and can’t thank them enough for volunteering to take up some of the behind-the-scenes admin that I’ll need to do before and during April.

In no particular order (for I love them all), here they are:

Rosalind Adam from Rosalind Adam is Writing in the Rain. An established writer, she also runs a popular blog, which has been through the A to Z Challenge before. She has guested on the AZ blog, and is already helping me work through the sign-up list! I encourage you not only to visit her blog and say howdy, but also to checkout the books she has published. Find her on Twitter : @RosalindAdam

Misha Gericke from My First Book is not only an enthusiastic writer, but also a terrific blogger who runs three blogs. She’s a great twitter and blog-friend for her fellow writers, and always has a word of encouragement and inspiration. Please check out all her blogs, and follow her as she embarks on her publishing journey.

Mina Lobo from Some Dark Romantic is “…is a Sagittarian with Venus/Mars in Scorpio & retrograde Saturn
in her natal chart, so lust, bitterness, & despair look great on
her. She aims for a wildly successful future as a writer of dark and
whimsical romance while dodging the slings and arrows of her outrageous
teenaged son, who’s buggered off to college (hence the “Lite”). She
enjoys comedic horror and alt rock, goth, & new wave music, as well
as quality Belgian chocolates.”
Her words, not mine — but I find myself agreeing. Follow her blog, and cheer her on as she charts her course of fictional dark romance.

Pam Margolis blogs at Unconventional Librarian and she loves books; especially children and YA books. She has all sorts of impressive degrees and is not just an elementary teacher but also a library media specialist who loves social media, coffee and books. Do check out her blog and hook up with her on all sorts of social media platforms, because as she says, “I blog, I party, I  write, I model, and do basically anything that your
traditional librarian doesn’t do; including work at a library.  I
currently work in an independent book store.” What a smorgasbord of interests!

So there you go– those are the #atozchallenge friends who would be working with me — and they’ve decided to call themselves Team Damyanti ! Scary thought — hope I’m good enough to merit a team in my own name.

They’ll help me visit and vet blogs,  spread word about the A to Z Challenge on all kinds of social media, and generally rescue me if I’m in distress.

I’m so proud to be working with these lovely women and delightful bloggers — A to Z Challenge would be a great adventure this April, and I’m thrilled I’ll have these ladies in shining armor by my side!

Have you signed up for the A to Z Challenge? Are you following @AprilA2Z? Do you already know some of the ladies on Team Damyanti? Fire away in the comments!

  • What a great team!!

  • Mina Lobo says:

@Tina – what are we, the Jets and the Sharks??? πŸ˜‰

  • Sorry, I can't participate, but I'm glad so many people are. I follow Misha. She'll definitely be a good person on your team.

  • Tina says:

Nicely done, Damyanti. A certain member of "Tina's Terrific Team" was a bit jealous that your friends each got a picture and a write-up…guess I'll have to one-up you somehow πŸ˜‰ Just kidding. Lest the librarian or the goth mom…or any of you're very loyal friends decides you need to be rescued from me…LOL.
I deleted my previous comment because I pasted the wrong thing…a comment on the A-Z blog about the whole new blogger attitude towards guest posters…anyway, it didn't belong here. So here's my actual comment about this actual post. And I hope JUST MY SIGNATURE, not the rant I wrote at the other blog. I always wonder when people remove their comments – why? Now I know it's sometimes operator error…sigh.

Jo, Jeremy did make them a badge, isn't it showing up on the post — it is for me…?

Rosalind, I'm clumsy, and not the most efficient co-host, so I might need to be rescued every once in a while!

Alex, and Joy, yes, I think so too!

Shelly, we need the spectators too…thanks for being such a regular on my blog!

Denise, that's what we've been thinking all year, and we've had such a great response to a call for help!

A note for potential visitors to my blog: yes, I do have an adult content warning before folks can click into the blog, proper, but that's mostly 'cause I reserve the right to swear when the moment feels right, and I occasionally write about nookie. Mostly, I'm an all-around nice gal. (Mostly.) πŸ˜‰
