An old movie called Carbon Copy featured George Segal as a white businessman who acknowledges he has an illegitimate black son. He ends up getting kicked out of his home and job. Even though he is obviously white, he has to live as if he were a poor black man. It's mostly a comedy, so some of the scenes are forced, but it was an interesting role reversal.
