Helping make #blogging #atozchallenge Bigger and Better: #TeamDamyanti

The A to Z April Blogging Challenge 2014 (sign up now, if you haven’t) is upon us, and like all of us co-hosts (Lee, Alex, Tina, Jeremy, Nicole, Stephen, Heather, AJ, MJ and Pam) I have a team of worthy bloggers to help me behind the scenes.

They are the fair and wise ladies of Team Damyanti — they make me think of the Persian tale of the Seven Wise princesses, who taught Shah Bahram, a legendary prince, about the qualities of a true leader.

I’m honored to have them in my team, and I have a lot to learn from each of them, as we work together to make A to Z April Blogging Challenge bigger and better than ever before. They come from Malaysia, Hungary, UK, US and India, so we cover a lot of time zones in our team!

Without further ado, here are the Seven Wise Ladies of Team Damyanti!

Anna Tan

Anna  makes a living hunting down mistakes and annoying bean counters in Malaysia. In her free time, she acts, sings and pretends to dance. She writes flash fiction, book reviews and rambling rants about faith at her blog. She tweets at @natzers

Csenge Zalka

Csenge is a professional storyteller from Hungary, currently working on her PhD in the USA. Her writing career includes short stories, historical fiction, and a collection of folktales about superpowers. She is a recovering archaeologist, practicing archer, and Irish wolfhound enthusiast. She tweets at

I love comments, and I always visit back. Blogging is all about being a part of a community, and communities are about communication! Tweet me up @damyantig !

Thanks Nicole, and I'm sure you'll have a rocking team this year as well. Sam is absolutely as good as she looks (and she looks gorgeous!) and is already doing a wonderful job!

What a fantastic team! Can't wait to see what the challenge brings, as this is the first time I'm doing it! What fun … I'm especially intrigued to see what happens in the world of Miss Jemima, whose guinea pigs and sentient trees appeal to me mightily. 🙂

It's delightful to meet your wonderful team. They all have interesting stories, especially Mary. Writing must be particularly challenging for her, and her determination is inspiring. What terrific ladies!! 🙂

  6. Tina

Oh so excited to meet your team! I know Vidya and Sam from the Tree of Life adventure (and boy was that a great adventure!) Excited to meet the rest of your Magnificent Seven. Good luck to all of you! You do know that you have the absolutely sweetest, most loving and caring of co-hosts to work for. Damy is a special friend, and I'm glad she's got YOU on her side.
