Writing about Blogger’s Block

I’ve been coming back to the blog all of past week (including the weekend), and leaving without making a post. I have two saved drafts, but haven’t published them. I haven’t written in the other blog either, and that’s not so good.

I’m writing other things, so I haven’t got writer’s block.

So I’ve concluded it is Blogger’s BLOCK.

And I find myself doing exactly what I do when I get writer’s block……I’m writing here about my Blogger’s block.

I’ve made a few good friends here down the year, you know who you are, and I’m counting on you guys and gals to get my blogging juices going again. Throw me a line here!

Ok, I’m waiting for ideas *taps her feet testily*!

When you stop looking, the ideas will rush in! The trick is to pretend you don’t notice them and write them down quickly before they notice 🙂

Hi Damyanti! I am not one to give advice, but I miss reading you! (Maybe knowing you’re missed will be enough.)

And now I’m learning about scraping…

    I hate writer’s block,
    I’ve had that.

  • Meme’s are good. Having a day that you dedicate to something life a song lyric day or fave poem or quote is freeing in a way.

    Scraping?

  • DarcKnyt says:

Scraping is NASTY, isn’t it? Hence, I’ve started putting copyright notices on my posts, which is a pain, and I’ve used the NEXTPAGE tag to break it into various pages, which seems to have stopped the problem.

And when you have nothing else to blog about, go ahead and do a meme. They work for my wife.

  • damyantig says:

    That’s alright.
Just that I’ve been having a load of “scrapers” on my blog.
They somehow figure out which of my posts attract the largest number of hits, and then copy them on to their blogs. Their “blogs” are nothing but scrapings from other people’s blogs.

They link and credit me too, which does not make it any better for me, because I feel robbed!

I know I was very angry when I left the comment on your blog, but from your response here it seems you did what you did in good faith, and are not “scraping”….

You’re welcome to link, and copy short excerpts in order to make a point, but copying an entire post is only ok if you ask me beforehand.

Thanks for visiting, and I hope we can start over.

  • Ephraim says:

Very sorry, I thought crediting you would suffice. I’ll remember your comments before doing the like in future.

Here’s a line anyway, hope you don’t mind, ‘you from my spine, detached in darkness’.

Good luck with your writing/blogging. They make wonderful reads! Cheers!
