Workshop for Writers in Singapore

City of Four Million Storeys – Characters and Place in Intimate Relationship.
A two-day workshop.
10.00 am to 5.00 pm
Saturday 20th February, Sunday 21st February

Interesting characters are in the places we live but how do we turn them into interesting stories? Over two days spent in and around the historic streets of Joo Chiat, participants in this workshop will be encouraged to use observation, experience and memories to capture the people and communities that surround us everyday, and given tips on how to mould these into fiction.

Join Suchen Christine Lim and Patrick for an intensive two-day workshop, exploring a sense of place and identity in your writing.

The workshop will take place at The Pond (http://www.thepond.com.sg). Lunch is not included but will be taken in the coffee shops around the area.

Workshop places are limited to just TWELVE places so book early. Places are $320 plus GST. For an application form, email [email protected] citing JOO CHIAT in the subject line
