Reading has been a past obsession…it still is one of my biggest interests, but it has been more than a decade when I’ve simply been laying about, reading all day.
I haven’t been feeling too well, there are more unread books around the house than I can count, and I guess the two put together have set me back a bit in time, and I’m reading now like I used to read in my teens, with only the shortest, most necessary breaks. Feels good.
I’m devouring Martin Amis, Gene Wolfe, Robin Hobb, Margaret Atwood and Marion Bradley at the same time.
So what have you been reading lately?
Well I love reading Ernest Hemingway – especially his short stories.
Right now I am reading War and Peace – for the nth time…!!!
I just finished Princess for Hire by Lindsey Leavitt!!! It was amazing!! She's an amazing writer, you should read it!
You Wish by Mandy Hubbard is next on my list!
I'm getting ready to read "paranormalicy" by kristen white.
Shakespeare, always. Hemingway, Chinese folk tales, poetry. Books about Antarctic exploration. The letters of Abelard and Eloise.
i have serious book love!
right now, i'm reading in YA to try to understand the genre more (that's what my WIP is)… and i have to say YA is super fun, insightful, and all around great!
this month and last i read: shiver, break, the hunger games, catching fire, mockingjay, city of ashes, minder, the duff, and am in the middle of white cat.
it gets hard to find the time, but i love it so much!!!
I recently read Jane Eagland's WILDTHORN. I picked it up on impulse at the library and it was such a great book!
Thank you for the comment on my blog!
