Jump Off the Lofty Peaks of Mystery

For all of April, I’m going wordless for the A to Z Challenge.

The title of each post is a phrase/ sentence that inspires me as a
writer, and below is a picture I think best embodies it. In the
comments, I invite you to discuss what the phrase means to you, as a person, a
reader, or whatever other role you might choose for yourself in life.

I love this picture. Have seen it happen in real life many times. Always give me inspiration to take a chance–especially with submitting my work.

First of all, I love the photo! I don't know if you've ever seen it, but there's a video floating around out there where a cat jumps off a balcony, set to the song "Sail." Same kind of thing. You may not know where you'll wind up, but sometimes you need to take that leap of faith.

It takes courage to leap off into the unknown – and without a parachute too! But that's what great writers down the centuries have done. I can only hope to be a little brave too.

What an awesome photo! The squirrels at our new rental property have been going crazy the last few days. They are so fun to watch it is hard to make myself work!

To me your picture means to take a risk. Happy J day–and I am with you in that the challenge is wearing me out–in a good way to find so many new friends!

To me, the phrase and pic mean to go for it, take a chance, don't hold back.
Great idea for a theme for the A to Z!
