How has the blogging community been for you? Which blogger do you call friends? How often do you visit and comment on blogs?

My debut literary crime novel,”You Beneath Your Skin,” published by the fab team at Simon and Schuster IN is slowly making its way into the world.

It is available in India here.

Worldwide, here.

Reviews are appreciated–please get in touch if you’d like a review copy.

Are you part of nay online or offline book groups? Founded any? What is the experience like? Do you think online book groups are similar to those offline?Daily (w)rite will be a dozen years old soon.

The highlight of these twelve years has been the wonderful love and community support from fellow bloggers.  I’ve had bloggers give me advice, stand by with support during public crises, take part in events and fundraisers I organised, and generally been a source of strength.

After the publication of You beneath Your Skin, I’ve had the honour and privilege of being hosted and reviewed by many blog friends. Here are a few posts and reviews, interviews and spotlights:

This was just me requesting fellow-bloggers for a spot on their blog, and them coming together to help me out, and help with the causes of Project WHY and Stop Acid Attacks. Without a blog tour organizer,  You Beneath Your Skin travelled the length and breadth of the blogiverse thanks to the kindness of my blog friends linked above.

Huge thanks to everyone who has been kind to me for the past few months–read and reviewed the book, and helped me keep up my courage in the face of odds. So much gratitude for all the love and support.

Hi Damyanti – blogging friends are the best … we really do appreciate each other … and you’ve shown us the appreciation you’ve had bringing your book to the fore – in the process helping the two charities … setting us an example. Congratulations and here’s to much success in 2020 and beyond – have a little quiet down time – before the flurry of the new year and more acknowledgements come about … cheers to you, the charities and all friends – Hilary

    • Damyanti Biswas says:

Thanks so much for your kind words and wishes, Hilary.

Truly appreciate your constant support with the book and the two charities that will be benefited. Sending you season’s greetings and wishes for a wonderful new year!

  • WordPress has a wealth of talent to appreciate and learn from. Each comment is valued too. Wishing you continuing success as your excellent book finds its way into people’s homes around the world with its exposure of the underbelly of each society. Hopefully this will prompt a reaction that begins to clean up our societies in future. 🙂

    • Damyanti Biswas says:

Thanks so much Ian. Absolutely agree with you–Wordpress is a wonderful, supportive community. I’ve also had a lot of support from my Blogspot friends who have kept in touch over the years.

  • Congratulations on the blog and book! The WordPress community is very supportive. I’ve met so many nice people here. 🙂

  • Big congratulations! It’s been a long journey.

  • Very excited to interview you soon! And I started blogging in 2013, and took a break in between and resumed blogging last year. I must say D. G. Kaye, Vashti Quiroz Vega, Katie J. Cross are some of the writers who have supported my writing from the beginning. I also wrote about Laxmi from Stop Acid Attack several years ago on thoughtsandviewsthatmatter.blogspot.com

    • Damyanti Biswas says:

Jasveena, I’m quite excited to be interviewed as well!

I’ve been blogging since 2008, which is quite long in the internet world, and have had a huge amount of support from the community. D G Kaye has been a great blog friend–will check out the others.
