Blogging is all about community, and in recognition of that, today I want to send you all to a few links. Trust me, if you’re not on all of these, you’re missing out!
1. A to Z Challenge 2014: As a co-host, of course, this is my first recommendation. At 750 sign-ups already in the 20 days it has opened, it is the T-Rex of bloghops. This challenge took my blog following and comments to places I hadn’t imagined before, and if you haven’t signed up, do so without delay. Today, we’re giving kudos to our man Jeremy, an excellent co-host and creator of the badge you see to the left, who has been down with an injury, is in considerable pain, and is suffering an internet ban! Go give him some love, please.
2. Blog Blitz: Started by DL Hammons, this is a spiffing idea to surprise some bloggers with our love. The deal is to find an unwary victim from this long list, and then flood him or her with comments. You’ll see this in action today at the post for Jeremy above. We co-hosts are sneaky, and DL, being a former co-host of the A to Z Challenge, has agreed to Blitz Jeremy with some comment love. If you want to wake up to a bazillion comments on one of your posts one fine morning, go add your name to the sign-up list! DL wants to hit the big old 500, and he’s just a 100 away!
3. A to Z Challenge Theme Reveal: Last Monday the ladies of #TeamDamyanti, Anna Tan, Csenge Zalka, Guilie Castillo Oriard, Samantha Geary Jones, and Vidya Sury *with technical support from Jemima Pett & Mary Wallace* kicked off the A to Z Theme Reveal Blogfest following the unofficial tradition Mina Lobo started last year for the A to Z Challenge. So, if you’re taking part in the A to Z Challenge (and if not, why not?), and have a theme, join the fun on March 21st!
4. Insecure Writer’s Support Group: Started by the Ninja Captain Alex J Cavanaugh, the name of this group explains itself. Each month, on the first Wednesday, writers in the blogiverse open up about their insecurities, reassure each other, make book announcements or give writing tips. If you’re a writer, and are not on this list, consider joining up today.

Last but not the least, I’d like to give a shout-out to another blogging community effort: the album Composer for Relief and its companion anthology Beyond the Binding spearheaded by Samantha Geary Jones.
Beyond the Binding is available NOW on Amazon &
Smashwords
in all ebook formats. Cover designed by Jennifer Redstreake Geary.

I'm a part of many from this list. Thanks for making this list. It surely helps!
A superb list, thanks for putting this together!
These are some awesome communities and would like to chose one or two to be a part of. A to Z , here I come and thanks for welcoming to our great community. Blitz sounds cool…Hope we can catch up and I can learn more 🙂
"Amolokiblogs" has been included in the A Sunday Drive for this week. Be assured that I hope this helps to point even more new visitors in your direction.

Hi Damyanti, I really want to be a part of this Challenge.. I have been reading around and people are talking about writing on a theme? Can poetry be considered as a theme? I hope I am not sounding silly !!
Poetry can absolutely be a theme. Go ahead and sign up, Jyotsna 🙂
Hey Damyanti!
A to Z equals Arggghhhh!!!!
That Blog Blitz thing, which I'm somehow involved in, has caused me some dismay. I really find it disrespectful that some bloggers only go to the person being blitzed and only mention the blitz. No mention of the actual posting. Very poor taste.
A to Z Theme reveal. Sure thing, my theme is to see the darned thing end! 🙂
"IWSG" aka "I Was Seeking Gary." Oh yeah and thanks for all the adulation.
Beyond the Binding. Good stuff and Samantha is one of my adoring fans. Or is it Penny's fans.
Have a lovely weekend, dear Damyanti.
Gary 🙂
We're all your adoring fans, Gary. You have a good weekend too!
Thanks for pointing these out. I shall definitely be looking into them more closely over the coming days… And accept my compliments to and admiration for those individuals who make the effort to initiate such endeavours!
Thanks for dropping by, Paul, and go ahead and join the communities. 🙂
Yup, those are all great hops and things. The IWSG makes me very happy every month. 🙂
I know, Lexa, they're all wonderful.
Wonderful blog communities, I must agree!
They are, MJ. Thanks for dropping by.
Great blog post. Very informative.
Thanks, Sharukh
Love all of them, Damyanti! 🙂 I am not part of the IWSG yet 😀 Loving the community feeling!

Me too, Vidya. And I especially love the seven ladies!
I'm honored that the BLOG BLITZ team is part of this awesome list! It aches for me to miss A-Z this year (and all blogging in general), but its all for the greater good.
Thanks again! 🙂
DL you're very welcome. The Blitz is a blast!
Nicely put together, Damyanthi! 🙂
Thanks Corinne, you're such a good blog-friend!
Any community for hindi?
Not that I'm aware of, I'm afraid.
I've met most of my favorite inky pals & collaborators through these lovely groups:)
WriterlySam A to Z Theme Reveal
Me too, Sam! You're one of them.
Signed up for all four! Well, the last one is a given…
Thanks for your support to the theme reveal, Alex!
'Write, Edit, Publish-WEP' by Denise Covey is a blogging group that appealed to me. It's a group that encourages writing and creating. I'm enjoying it.
I'm signed up for the A to Z this year, theme will be revealed when A to Z starts.
That's a nice group– I know Denise– will go check it out!
Hallo, Hallo Damyanti!
I'd love to see comments erupt out over the posts I have on my blog! 🙂 That is one of my goals this year, is to encourage visitors to stop and chat with me on my blog! I don't use captcha or anything else, except for what you have here, mine is even easier as its just an 'email' & name to post a comment! I decided to streamline it to make it easier on visitors. I am always curious what a visitor might think whilst they read a post &/or a book review on my site. I'm hoping perhaps through the 'theme' I've picked for the A to Z Challenge perhaps when I go to share what I do share (oy, almost spoilt the 'theme'!) it will encourage others to share too!?
If any of the A to Z participants stop by my blog it will be a happy surprise for me! 🙂
I love books and bookish culture which extends into bookish & geeky conversations!
Rock on!
ps: I've decided to take part in the Theme Reveal! 🙂 Cheers!
Thanks for taking part in the AZ and the Theme reveal– I'll sure stop by your blog, and soon.
Hi Damyanti,
I envy all the bloggers who participate in the A to Z challenge. Every year, I tell myself that I will join this year but travel plans put hurdles in my path. Keeping my fingers crossed that this year I can participate.
Rachna, I'll be traveling this year too. Just schedule your posts in advance and check in as often as you can.
Nicely put together! I love how you credit and link each person, making it so easy for us to do exactly what you're promoting. I'm proud to say that I'm a part of each of those, with the exception of buying the album – but I did snag the anthology. Just waiting for my piggy bank to fill up again.
You have some amazing ladies helping you!
I also, as a visual learner, can't help but notice how perfectly Jeremy made your co-host badge. Looks so "at home" on your blog, as does mine on mine…

Jeremy made one specially for me, cos I begged him. He's a champ– hope he's recovering well. Thanks for getting the anthology– yours truly has a story in it!
I've seen so many people do the A-to-Z challenge in the past, and it's really tempting to participate, but I'm afraid I wouldn't be able to keep up with it properly!
Heather, if it sounds overwhelming, no worries, we appreciate our cheerleaders 😉
