There are so many points of courage in this. When she chose to take a public role in supporting education for girls. When she received death threats and chose to continue her advocacy for girls’ education. When she was shot and chose, again, to continue her advocacy. When she chose to advocate for education for the daughters of those who shot her. If she is not a role model for bringing peace into this world, I don’t know who is.
She is heroic! To have something so horrible happen but to make her convictions even stronger shows me she is one of the bravest people in the world. I am in awe of this young lady and would be so honoured to meet her one day
Saw this yesterday in the news, shot by the Taliban just because she wanted to go to school. This girl has what I call real courage, not even those crazy nut cases deterred her from going to school, she knew the risks until she got shot then of course school had to take a hiatus from her life at least for a while. I only meat those crazies Talibanies but with a rifle in hand and some friends behind but definately not going near them alone. So to me this girl epitomises real personal courage. Good for her and now she´s safe in England to keep studying and probably do something great for the world in her future years.
Love this! What a great write-up!
Our hero! We Pakistanis are proud of you 🙂
every now and then, we are shown the real face of courage, and our faith in humanity is restored through people like her.
