I featured Jemima Pett on my blog in April during the A to Z Challenge, and she was happy with the results, which is why we’re back together again, featuring another of her books. The book in question is The Traveler in Black and White, an MG/YA fantasy, and it is the feature this Wednesday.
Elevator Pitch: In the fourth book, a prequel to the Princelings series, Lord Mariusz of Hattan
narrates, in his own Chandler-esque style, how he came to explore the
world on the end of the time tunnel, his encounters with murder, mayhem and madams, and why he adopted the pseudonym
Hugo in the first place.

I had the chance to quiz him about the area. The castle was set apart from the
village, up on some crags overlooking a broad river valley, and like Vexstein
there were mountains behind. “Dark and brooding, with moorland where a man can
get lost and never find his way back again” was his description. Sounded like
he’d been reading too many gothic novels, but he’d seemed quite sensible
otherwise, so I decided to leave him be. I said I was planning to visit the
next day, and he said he was too, so we agreed to go up there together around
ten.

Greeting Jemima and Damyanti,
Jemima, I'm intrigued by your excerpt. I shall duly take the liberty of sharing this posting on the various social networks. Wishing you much success and fulfilment with your book.

What a fascinating cover. And the plot, too. I'll have to check this one out.
I'd like to know what they both meant!
Tweeted and shared!
Hugs and chocolate,

The cover definitely grabs your attention. I liked how Montgomery hinted the need for protection in the teaser. 'Inclined' pretty much needs 'Hell Yes' in my opinion. This sounds like an interesting book with a unique feel. Not the run of the mill. I'm intrigued.
Thanks so much for featuring Traveler, Damyanti! I hope your readers enjoy it.
