I turn to my best friend or (drumroll) – I clean something! Yes, it's odd, but it gives me something to do with my hands while my mind can just sort of wander. And if I don't get any inspiration – well, at least the bathroom or kitchen is now sparkling clean!
I usually turn to friends or set aside my writing and knit a little. I do something relaxing that helps me unwind and whatever is getting my writing down goes away.
