Have You Joined the #AtoZchallenge Yet?

If you haven’t joined the A to Z April Blogging Challenge, there are three reasons:

1. You don’t know about it
2. You want to, but are terrified.
3. You don’t want to

If you don’t know what it is, here’s the spiel: The brainchild of Arlee Bird, at Tossing it Out, this challenge basically requires 26 posts in 26 days based on 26 letters of the alphabet, one post beginning with each letter during the month of April, with Sundays off for good behavior.

If you post for all these days, comment on other bloggers on the sign-up list, and follow the blogs you like on your visits, it will add to the number of comments and followers on your blog.

It is That simple, folks.

If you want to, but are terrified, here’s what you should look at: a challenge veteran talks about why all bloggers should join the A to Z challenge  and if that doesn’t convince you, here’s another, especially if you’re a blogging newbie.

A theme would be helpful, but never mind if you don’t have one. Here are few tips to ace the challenge, and here’s what you can do rightaway if you sign up.

If you don’t want to join this year because of personal, family, or professional reasons, there will be another challenge next year, so that’s fine.

But if you are a blogger with a passion for blogging and networking, or a desire to build your online platform, with the time and energy to devote to it, I can assure you there are few blog challenges better than the A to Z April Blogging Challenge.

So, have you signed up? Terrified to sign up? Skipping the A to Z Blogging Challenge this year? Fire away in the comments!

good we start in april let me see if I can handle it.

  • I'm still weighing my options on this one. I know how intense a month of blogging can be. Shall I? Shall I not? 🙂
    Good luck to you though!

  • Working hard to get ready…time is of the essence now…

    Hi Damyanti,

Yes, it's me, Penny the Jack Russell dog and modest internet superstar! 🙂 Now then, you might have realised that my human or my amazing self, do not participate in this A to Z Challenge. Firstly, it's far too demanding for us. Secondly, we much prefer doing our own thing rather than being tied down for an entire month being involved with it.

However, even though we satirise the challenge in a good natured way and get loads of comments, we do, rather ironically, promote the challenge on our site. So there you go. Wishing those involved, much fun and interaction. And embrace the ethos of a sharing, caring blogging community.

    Pawsitive wishes,

    Penny 🙂

  • I'm in AND the am posting on The Big Reveal on my 3/21 post …

Popped in from the Blog Blitz.

  • After 2 years of watching, I've finally joined! 😀

I'm also taking part in the Reveal on the 21st. I'm trying to share some positivity with my #WriteMotivation friends on Twitter (and to help keep me positive in the process)

  • I'm sitting this one out, but considering how many people are gonna be participating this year, I don't think I'll be missed. I thoroughly enjoyed it last year, but I'm going to step back from blogging in April so I can get my novel prepped for publication. That's gotta come first. Maybe next year…

    Y'all have fun!

  • I participated in the A to Z Challenge last year. This year, I'll visit your blogs, but I won't write my own A to Z posts.
